Frankie and Bennys

Good chicken, friendly staff. Little pricey, and no refillable drinks, but they do offer student discount.

I hat this pace. I hat the menu, i hate the prices, i really hate the food but i am a fan of learning Italian in the toilets!
I’ve been to a few of these hum drum places and every time i go all optimistic and end up leaving suicidal,
Last time i went to this particular restaurant, i swear to god someone had urinated over my pizza, OK i’m being a bit over-​dramatic but the thing was bloody soaking and tasted disgusting.
Drinks are absurdly over priced which made me nervous about the way i ordered.
I will give a thumbs up to the location of Frankie and Bennys, built in the new Rhyd-​y-​car complex there’s loads of other options if you really, like me are not a fan. They are even building a McDonalds right opposite so its a thumbs up if your really devastated.
Staff in Frankie and Bennys seem to be miserable, not their fault really, probably sick of complaints and miserable dinners, you cant really blame the poor dabs.
I know loads of people really do love this place and maybe i’m getting cynical in my old age but it’s not for me sorry.

Convenient location with ample parking and easy access. Always spotless there. I have eaten at several of the Frankie & Benny’s restaurants and this one is no better or worse. Staff, as with all of their restaurants, are over worked and underpaid. They are friendly, helpful and patient with the children and are very accommodating. The children never leave without balloons and they always get their activity packs, unlike some other branches that always run out.
Great pizza/​pasta place… it is not a steak house so don’t expect really good steaks, usually slightly over-​cooked but tasty none-​the-​less. It is becoming better and better each time I visit, its nice to see the same staff there each time as staff turnover in these places is usually quite high. They are more efficient at their jobs the more experience they gain and know the menu’s really well.
A pleasant dining experience that does exactly what is says on the tin… it is good food, good prices, great choice for the children. even fussy ones always find something to eat… and even do children’s fruit ‘cocktails’ with mixing juices and crushed ice etc. which keeps them quiet for ages!

Large restaurant, with great italian food. I’ve never had a problem before and the service is always quick and pleasant. Prices are very reasonable i recommend the pizza’s (: This frankie & benny’s has recently opened and is a little gem!
