Évaluation du lieu : 5 Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom
This is a good old fashioned pub just off Acklam Rd in the Boro. On the day I was in the barmaid was on fine form cajoling the customers and generally having some good banter. It is fair to say the clientele is mixed(read into that what you may) however on a hot summer’s day this is a really popular venue. If you are on your own, don’t panic as the customers were very friendly and this struck me as an easy place to pass an hour and have a good laugh as the world goes by. The beer was good, although like all Sam Smiths pubs not a lot of choice. That said; the beer was really very nice and exceptional value for money(I got charged just over £3 for a pint of bitter and a pint of lager). There are a few tables outside for those who fancy enjoying the Middlesbrough air. Inside, it’s a typical Northern Pub. As far as I could tell there were no juke boxes, sky TV or any other distractions to take you away from the ale. I think I have found my second home.
