Argos

Argos is probably one of the biggest catalogue companies in the UK, with hundreds of stores around the country, including this one in Middleton.
This particular store isn’t in a great location, it is right at the top of the Arndale centre, towards the end of the outside row, hence it can be a bit of a treck to get their, which in my opinion can be fixed, with the Middleton Arndale having more than enough empty spaces to accommodate them.
This store also seems to be left out in the revamp, although this store isn’t like being in the 18^th century, it isn’t the nicest of stores compared to branches in Rochdale (Richard Street) and Liverpool One for example, and could definitely do with a makeover, making it more electronic rather than the pen and paper approach. This store is still a nice store, but compared to the branch at the Liverpool One for example, it is like Victorian Britain.
As this store is quieter, the queuing process can be a lot quicker, however I was disappointed when I was stalled, due to the cashier having no change, I would of prefered them to be getting my order, while I waited for her to sort this out, so it was a minor inconvenience.
The selection based on the catalogue here is quite good, considering it is located in a small town, but with some products you probably will have to go to a bigger store in a bigger town, such as Manchester Arndale, Manchester Fort or Oldham Elk Mill.
As this store is around the average mark, I do feel 2 stars is fair, as it is a nice store but compared to other branches of Argos, they could do a lot better!
