The Luttrell Arms

In diesem alten englischen Hotel hatten wir Cream Tea mit «Clotted Cream». Sehr nett serviert! Man kann sich lange hier im Hotel aufhalten, Zeitungen und Magazine lesen. Ich war schon zwei Mal hier, und freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch im Oktober. Mein Traum wäre es, hier eine Nacht oder ein langes Wochenende zu verbringen. Im Pub ist es sehr gemütlich. Man kann die verschiedensten Ales und Beers probieren.

A wonderful mediaeval building with comfortable, well-​designed bedrooms. The bar is delightful, with its pannelled walls, open fire and 16^th century windows looking out over the monks’ courtyard.
From the enthusiastic and jovial staff we received great old fashioned AND GENIUNE welcome.
There is a selection of good wines at a range of reasonable prices and some good local ales and ciders.
Paul Hepburn is a dedicated chef producing GREAT food for the bar as well as the tastefully decorated restaurant and he is supported by a great front of house team with Sally in perfect control of affairs.
The hotel is set in an idyllic village with its unique Yarn Market, its ancient priory, and a fantastic castle complete with ghosts.
What more could you ask?
Now even better with refurbished rooms and still great food. It has been taken over by some very knowledgeable and experienced hoteliers who also own the Royal Castle Hotel in Dartmouth where we once had a superb meal.
