Calico Laine Textiles

I ordered several pots of Dylon fabric paint, checking ahead that they would ship to the USA. It took forever and arrived so poorly packaged that one of the lids had cracked, spilling paint all over the inside of the flimsy bag and leaking through. I sent them a photo, a nice note and asked for a replacement. They sent it exactly the same way, damaged in transit! Again, I sent another photo, another courteous note and they mailed yet another replacement. Unbelievably, the packaging was identical to both the previous shipments, with the paint pots rattling around loose inside the bag. This time two of the lids were cracked and leaking! I sent yet another courteous note. They have refused to replace it this time. Is it so difficult to wrap a little pot of paint in bubblewrap? Three strikes and you’re out, Calico Laine!

I recently ordered three meters of Christmas fabric from Calico Laine; and, like previous orders: arrived in a very short time of placing order on line. The fabric is absolutely lovely, all packaged smartly. I run a small home business making cushions, covers and aprons, and I would highly recommend Calico Laine to anyone whose business is making retailed good from textiles. A superb range of textiles at affordable prices!
