Coffee Traders

A fantastic option for coffee lovers as it is open until 8pm which is unusual as most coffee houses close their doors at 6! My friend and I decided to meet here as we wanted the quiet and informal ambience of a coffee house one evening which Coffee Trader delivered. The coffee was very nice and it looked like they had a fantastic selection of cakes available although on this occasion I didn’t try any. In addition to this they offer a variety of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads at reasonable prices.
Nicely decorated with prints showcasing Newcastle scenery/​architecture on the walls, comfortable retro sofas and quirky items such as a coatstand with paddles or oars for legs. Unfortunately I decided to sit at the back and was a little distracted due to the thoroughfare of people cutting through to access the tanning salon so I would perhaps pick my seating more carefully next time. An ideal venue on an evening for those wanting a café but somehow the atmosphere was lacking for me so not my first choice.
