If you live at byker this place is the best place. When I am renovation my house on byker every time I go there buy something and need advice for professional staff. But sadly just one person Is the best staff always helpful, nice and listen what my problem is. He is name is Wayne (nice and good person), for another staff is ok but sometime not really good for advice just they always give you advice the expensive item always good than cheapest one. Tidy place and lots of bargain I buy 5 pieces safety plug cost 25p. They have garden store too.

This is B&Q branch situated in Byker. It’s a good size store. Although this branch is not as big as the one in Scotswood road, but this branch has got plenty offers. I got loads of bargains in this branch for 50p, for RRP £3-£10. This B&Q branch is also very close to other shops, such as ASDA, JJB sport, Mc Donald. Some staffs in this branch are also very helpful. They are willing to explain DIY method in details with customers, which absolutely big plus when it comes to DIY. However, always make sure you check the price tag in the shelf before you go to check out, as sometimes the price tag in the shelf has not been updated. By doing this, you can get old price in the check out. Overall, this B&Q branch is one of my favourites.
