Children’s play area has just been upgraded and includes a musical grid which you play with your feet!

I’ve always loved this park, spent many a happy afternoon with my children there. Just opposite the Freeman hospital it’s easily found. I love the duck pond as do generations of children from over the years and there is also the play area for the children as well. It has the tennis courts and a little café which is open seasonally. I think that there is no other little park around as pleasant as this one on a balmy summers afternoon. It’s just lovely.
