This Tesco is definitely a Tesco EXTRA-it’s by far the largest Tesco I’ve seen! It takes 5 mins to walk the car park to get to the front door! Before you enter there is a Timpsons and a Giraffe.
Internally, the atmosphere is bright, clean, shiny and noisy from all the shoppers bustling around. There has been efforts to make the architecture look aesthetically pleasing from the outside but internally, aside from some high windows at the entrance, you feel like you are in a giant warehouse.
As you enter, you are immediately marketed the deals of the day, to the left is a customer service desk with ladies who are away chatting to each other. Beyond the desk is another entrance to the restaurant, Giraffe. Deeper into the store is the food-​to-​go section which is actually pretty impressive with the salad bar, help-​yourself-​curry and hot sandwiches, a Costa coffe dispenser and a few self-​scans (I’ve never seen this set up in any other store).To the right of the entrance is a serious-​looking but friendly security gaurd, a postbox and a cool machine that prints off your vouchers.
The general layout of the store is pretty much the same as other Tesco stores but each section is like it’s own store! The clothing section has a massive range and once you turn 90 degrees to the right, you are waking down the middle of the store with food on the right (in order of fesh, refrigerated, frozen, cupboard, then drinks) and general merchandise followed by homeware, heath and beauty and home cleaning on the left as you progress deeper into the store. Beyond these ailses there’s an opticians, a pharmacy and other services that I can’t remember… Beyond the food aisles on the right, you are met with lots of checkouts, self-​checkouts and self-​scan guns closer to the exit.
Once you have finished your shopping, within the store, you can grab a bite at Subway, a card from Card Factory, get your haircut or relax with a cup of tea at the café.
Overall, the checkout and customer service staff are not all that friendly or helpful but they do get the job done and aside from the sheer size (hence more stock and variety especially in terms of World Food sections), this Tesco is just the same as all the others. I am however told that during Christmas trading hours, the staff go around on roller blades to get around faster. Now, that’s something to go see.

A massive store with a great range of goods.
I’ve shopped here over 80 times, with no problems. It is big, (for the UK, I’ve seen bigger in the states) so you will do plenty of walking on your first visit.

This store is situated of the A1 at Kinston park this store has no atmosphere and you feel like you are shopping in a large factory.
I feel its very expensive and when there is special offers on there is not much left the customers are rude sometimes pushing and shoving you out the way and giving you no space to shop. The staff seem to talk to their fellow staff about what they did last night and don’t seem to care about their roles. I would not personally reccomend this store but the key selling point is the choice. Hopefully things will improve with Tesco’s £1 billion pound revamp only time will tell I suppose.

I love this store, I go on a regular basis as there are plenty of bargains on offer. Also the Tesco clubclards are great as you get money back on what you spend. It is great for picking up cheap household items, electrical items, clothing, food, beauty products and much more. You could never be disappointed as there are hundreds of items on show at low, low prices.

This Tesco store in Kingston Park Newcastle is Tesco Extra, meaning it is very big Tesco store. There is Tesco Petrol near this Tesco Extra. Tesco sells nearly everything; Grocery, DIY, baby stuff, toiletries, electronics, clothes, household products, and so many others. The layout is very nice, bright and tidy. If you are a good shopper, you can find bargain here. But, if you are careless shopper, you will face big bill at till as well. The staff is not too nice, no smile, sometimes a bit nasty. It may because they are busy. The customer services are majority not nice. Although there are some very nice and helpful customer services. Parking space is huge.

Like another Tesco store but it is the bigest on at Newcastle. The place is ok and the staff not really good. If you go to customer service have tall lady with blond short hair do not ever change your item to him or ask for help because she so nasty woman. The reason is when i giving back tesco juice because i am not happy with tesco product she just refuse my item and say that it is from chilled side so we can not accepted, next day i come to return it again (the carton from say that if i am not happy with tesco product you can return it) have lovely lady just welcome and accept what i am buy. So if you come this store and have plan to go customer service beware that tall lady (about 40 years old) with short blond hair.
