In comparison to other Nando’s I’ve been to that are 5-stars worthy(including the one in Spytty) this Nando’s is lacking. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still decent but the bar has just been set really high for me so I can’t give anything more than 3 stars and justify it! ~ Customer Service: Really needs working on to be honest. In the span of not even 1 minute, maybe 45 seconds THREEPEOPLE came by to ask if everything was alright. It was a bit bizarre but this shows a bit of lack of coordination. Also, as we were sat down, the waitress was standing and holding onto my chair so I couldn’t sit so I just awkwardly stood next to her and waited for her to finish her greeting spiel. There were other hiccups in the customer service as well. Although the food came quickly, isn’t it standard practice to bring all mains out at the same time? There were 4 of us and our mains came out all at different times. One of my friends got hers first and although she wanted to wait for the rest of us, her food started getting cold so we just told her to finish first. ~ Food: Not bad so it saves the place from a purely bad rating. It’s a Nando’s though so the food can’t be that bad. Everything was still tasty and edible! One problem with the food though that I did have was that sauce I ordered with the food wasn’t actually cooked in the chicken. My chicken was cooked in and sauce poured on top. It still tastes fine, but not as good as other Nando’s I’ve been to with the sauce actually permeating the chicken. — Overall, if you’re as huge of a fan of Nando’s as I am, your standards are going to be pretty high. This is still a fine Nando’s for all intents and purposes though so please take my seemingly scathing review with a pinch of salt!
