TOPTOPTOP! Best coffee in the whole damn town by a looooong country mile, great service, fantastic food and great atmosphere. I am a die hard fan of the BURRITO, and having travelled extensively over the world I gotta say the folks at MAYA do the best goddamn one anywhere. Eat here.

My wife and I remain fans of this place, it has table service and no we don’t know the owners. We do know good taste and we know our food. This time we tried something different that we hadn’t had before; my wife had the Maya salad with grilled chicken(£7.30 or £5.30 if no chicken) it also had feta style cubed cheese, mixed leaves, tomatoes and a bulgar style wheat with balsamic vinegar on the side, at her request. The food tasty, the portion generous. I had a piece of the chicken and the cheese and both were very tasty — tasty is what people who go out to eat well expect. I had pulled pork and grated cheese tortillas. It wasn’t what I expected as I anticipated crispy tortilla corn type food but as the photo shows there were three soft tortillas on the plate, crammed with juicy pork and again ace flavour. A segment of fresh lime was on each tortilla to allow even greater flavour(fresh lime juice works well in Thai red curries too). I loved the food and I felt well fed too. We followed with a cappuccino and double espresso to follow — I’ll say it again this place and Café Crème serve the best coffee for 20 miles around here; those who sell more bitter(cheaper) coffee please take note.
