A cheap and friendly Wetherspoons. The staff all seemed to get on well, which can add to the atmosphere of a place. My pint of Thornbridge Pale Ale was smooth, tasty (cascade hops, yum) and cheap. Mind you, as I settled into my seat and became aware of my surroundings, the kids in the place stole away any atmosphere and relaxedness to the pub with their afternoon chorus of tears and screams. Worth a visit, but only after bedtime.

A very busy pub with local selling ale which is great for the community. Good choice of value for money food, although it is a bit of a wait. has a quiz night every tuesday and promotional night such as a curry night special offer on thursdays. Has become the main meeting area in newton abbot and suits all ages. They are children friendly and regularly show the sport on the Tv for the men

Wetherspoon pub. Huge place, lots of tables, one can usually get a table without waiting. Fast service, cheap food and drinks. Lots of Meal deals, such as curry club, beer and burger, steak club and Sunday club. Good selection of healthy food, children meals, even some gluten-​free meals. Family friendly. Very clean toilets!

Wetherspoons is a great bar, it’s well situated and is great to go into after a day out. The food and drinks are all reasonably priced, as it is part of a franchise.
The staff are friendly, and happy to chat for a while whilst at the bar. They are generally knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
Nice atmosphere, I could easily spend a few hours in the chilling out earlier in the day.

J D Weatherspoons cannot be beaten for cheap pints, especially their monday night cheap pint night.
although it is very dim lighting in their and is always busy.
it has a good atmosphere and if you can handle to busyness then you will love it.
pure gem in most towns.
