I have only been in here twice but it is amazing and exactly what we needed! For those travelling long motorway journeys there is plenty here to stop for! They have greggs, Burger King, subway, a Chinese, another café and a coffee shop! There is literally everything you could need under one roof! There is also a play area to help the kids burn off some energy before getting back in the car! It’s been a long time coming for Northern Ireland and I hope there will be more of these at different locations!

Petrol station that’s really a small village inside with a range of eateries and loads of seating. Its been very well thought out as the children’s play area is covered from the elements and there’s a drive through burger king as well. We drove up today just to get to Greggs again.

Wow this is a brilliant place, I absolutely love it. You’ve got a good selection of places to eat in here and a normal shop for groceries, theres Greggs, lavazza, bakewell bakery, chopstix, subway, burger king Lots and lots of seating, toilets are big and clean. Lots of car parking spaces and a special trucks area. Theres also a small play area for children outside. 2 entrances and fresh flowers as you come in on display for sale also kids ride on cars. Great place, I love it. Definitely be back here.

Wow. Loads of food and services on offer. Didn’t realise there was that much in here. Kids outdoor jungle gym on offer. Some food is a bit pricey for what it is.

American style Truck Stop 10 miles or so north of Belfast and another one further up the road near Coleraine with another I believe, in the Lisburn area. Given the lack of long motorways/highways in our limited infrastructure I’m not sure how this reststop concept has become so popular in the few months it has been opened but it is a big success and is always busy in the few times I have visited after the tiring ten mile or so drive up the hill from Belfast Food can be pricey in some of the concessions but petrol/diesel prices are average for the Belfast area. Food concession stands: Chopstix, Burger King, Bakewell, Lavazza Coffee, Greg’s Pies and the usual convenience store. Also a shower room to freshen up in on the way home from the pub… though I don’t advice drinking and driving.

GREGGS!!! The only bleeding one in Ireland and its here. Have called in here a few times now on the trip to the Port. Newly opened there is something for everyone. Within the service station there is a food court that boasts a LavAzza coffee shop, Bakewell café, Burger King, Subway and Chopstix food outlets, oh and GREGGS! There is plenty of seating for the family and also a free kids play park. Having visited a few times we have sampled most of the food counters here and we haven’t been let down yet. Having lived in GB, once upon a time, i was more excited to indulge with a Greggs Steakbake & Chicken and mushroom bake. There’s no denying that Greggs is pretty awesome for a quick fix of baked goodness. This place is only accessible if you are travelling Northbound on the M2 so dont get your hopes up of a short journey on the southbound as you need Travel approx 1 or 2 miles south to hit a roundabout. Loved it, Love Greggs. For that reason alone you should pop in here next time you pass.

This place has it all if your looking for something to eat on a long drive or maybe not so long drive. My wife would make me drive here whether we were passing or not due to the fact it has a Greggs. Greggs is a chain of bakeries from across the water and the steak bake is highly recommended. This service station also has a very good selection of other eating places, from Chinese at chopstix to burgers at Burger King. Nice wee shop and a few kids play areas to keep the little ones entertained. Also the fuel isn’t to dear.

Those of us who have trawled up and down the motorways and A-roads of the mainland will be familiar with the ubiquitous service areas every 20 miles or so, whether there is a need for a service area on a 20 mile stretch of motorway less than 10 miles from the city centre is a moot point, but presumably someone thought it a good enough idea to build one, and start work on the opposite side of the motorway for another, but the missus was curious enough so off we trotted in ye olde Mondeo to check it out. Being a new building it is pretty fresh looking and has the usual mix of franchise chain food outlets all doing their usual stunt of over charging for everything, even the Applegreen part of the operation is more expensive for everything from Mars Bars to fuel although for the first week or so after opening, the fuel was cheap. The place was pretty packed though, so presumably enough people were curious to see what the fuss was about too. As for me, I think I’ll just carry on my way and pay normal price somewhere else.

A beautifully kept, spacious and comfortable place with a range of food providers like Lavazza, BurgerKing and including I think Northern Ireland’s first Gregg’s the baker. What a pity Gregg’s or its franchisee charges 35% more than it does on the High Street for its breakfast deal with the £2 breakfast deal coming in here at a whopping £3 and only half the bacon portion that I am used to getting. I really dislike this: nothing but nothing stops me giving repeat business to a place as fast as being ripped off. No point claiming its the cost of rent(and it certainly won’t be the cost of wages) as I just won’t accept that the rent on a motorway five miles from Antrim town is dearer than Gregg’s rent in Leeds or Chester city centre, it would be palpable nonsense to claim so and the plain truth here is that we are just being ripped — off so next time I’ll go the extra few miles to Starbucks at Junction 1. Simples don’t complain change loyalty.

So nice to see a service station with such good amenities! Lovely spacious parking, loads of eateries to choose from such as Greggs, Chopstix, Burger King, Bakewell and many more plus a nice shop for snacks and drinks. Also has toilets and showers to freshen up. Brilliant.

Very plush new motorway services — great selection of food and coffee though pricey for anything more than a subway or burger king.

This newly opened station is the M2 motorways first and long overdue services station. Inside you’ll find a subway, Burger King, chopstix and a general fry up type of food stall. There’s also a greggs bakers on its way, the first of its kind in NI. The inside has a great atmosphere and very comfortable seating. Fuel isn’t overly expensive either. All in all a great addition to the M2. It will definitely be used by myself a lot in the near future.
