Papa John’s

With ordering online being so simple to do and the hot food being delivered to you within 30min, Papa John’s (North Acton) proves to be an easy-​access guilty pleasure. The Mediterranean Vegetarian is a decent alternative to have for a vegetarian option as the courgettes, cherry tomato and onions make for a good combination (although the garlic sauce that it comes with was too sharp and didn’t work). However, the Garlic and Herb dip that you can order separately makes the meal that much more tasty and the potato wedges I would’ve preferred as larger cuts but still were nice enough. The cheese jalapeños are good quality; subtley spicy, delicately crisp on the outside and pleasantly soft on the inside. Overall, Papa John’s prides itself on using ‘better ingredients’ than other pizza places and I can see that the ingredients are a good variety and perhaps more genuine but the food in general does not seem to be as flavoursome as their opposition. Nevertheless a valiant effort and a worthy option to have.
