Had a really fun night out here on a low key hen do (no identifying regalia!). On arriving at about 11pm we thought, looking through the door, that it was almost empty but the space stretches round and although it was relatively quiet at first this gave us time to enjoy some decent sangria and chat until the music suddenly went super loud and the dancing started in earnest. It was packed with a generally friendly and very mixed crowd (all ages and both local and a few actual Spaniards and Latin Americans!) crowd although quite a few lone guys sharking. Music was obviously Latin-​themed and they are open to requests for Shakira, Juanes etc!

Have only been to Bar Tapas and was not overly impressed. Maybe I just went on an off-​night, but I found the service to be exceptionally slow.
Each tapas dish turned out to be almost the size of a full meal by itself, as as long as you don’t over order (like we did as we were expecting more traditonal sized tapas) it does offer good value for money.
The food itself wasokay. Nothing was particularly memory or note-​worthy, but it was filling. A bit non-​descript over all.

finally a decent Spanish place in norwich — just wish I could have gone growing up! I love tapas and the atmosphere makes it a real experience.

i’ve been to bar tapas quite a few times. i like the food but it works out quite expensive when you line up a few tapas to sharemusic too loud sometimesbut otherwise it’s ok.
