No thrills Indian cuisine, perhaps a little more on the greasy side, though the prices are fair and the general atmosphere of the place never promises more than you receive.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Starving after a couple of sherbets and in need of sustenance, a Curry was called for. I had originally opted to go to the Spice Lounge but, upon passing the Bengal Clipper, my stomach dragged me through the door. A smart interior looks a bit like a converted pub, low lights, smart and clean. Let’s give it a go. The staff were quick and attentive and, given my emotional state, very friendly. The food was very good. Initially, I worried that there wasn’t enough. However, it was rich and filling and really well spiced. Prices were reasonable and I will definitely be going back next time I have to visit Norwich for an Alan Partridge convention.
