Pub is friendly and has a vast selection of beers and other drinks at a reasonable price. And as a bonus you can take some away with you in takeaway cartons. The cheese boards are amazing and great value for money and the pub has live music on a Friday night which is always popular. Even with this you never have to wait too long to get served.

A large, airy and well lit pub a good 10/15-minute walk outside the city centre. Great range of Fat Cat beers on tap, in addition to other British micros. Friendly service. Good value. There are a couple of other good pubs not too far from Fat Cat Brewery Tap, so you could walk out here and hit them all in one swoop, which is what I did.

Great pub with a strong selection of beers and a good atmosphere. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but is well worth a visit.

The Fat Cat pubs are from my limited experiences quite rowdy places! This is a very nice place though and I cannot argue too much with the appearance(love hops). They serve very good beer, including their own brews, of which I’d recommend you start with a couple! Some outside space.

Recommended by at least three different taxi drivers as the best beer in Norwich. I was a little but off because this place is just beer. No proper dinner, which makes it hard for us to justify three taxi rides as opposed to just two. But I managed to convince the gang to give it a try and as luck would have it, we were able to catch a ride later to a proper restaurant. Lots and lots and LOTS of beer choices here. Not only a few of the mass produced types, but they had a few cask ales on tap. And of course, their own Fat Cat Brews. I started off with one of the real ales — something called«Bitter & Twisted» which I’d never seen before. Good stuff. But who comes to a brewery pub and has something from somewhere else? So for number two, it was Fat Car’s Honey Ale. Hand-pulled and absolutely lovely! Inside tables and some outside in their beer garden. They do have nuts and crisps, but again, no proper food. We’ll be back. I really want to try their Cougar(a pale beer with lager malt) and the 8% «La Chouuffe».
