Well, I am sorry but I can only speak as I find. We visited today for lunch, but only had 1.5 hours left on the car park. it was quiet so we did not think there would be a problem. We were offered a range of seating upstairs as inside was empty, so we picked a nice table by the window with a view overlooking the ‘Labour in vain’ yard(I do know how it came by this name, but cannot be in writing here). That’s as far as we got, we waited, other people came in, we waited and then other people were having their orders taken before us. looking at the time it became apparent that we would not be able to eat in time to miss a parking fine. I am a believer that if things start off badly they will only get worse, bearing in mind we had not been offered a drink. As excellent customer service is one of the main iingredients of a good meal we decided to cut our losses and leave. This was a shame as the excellent previous reviews portrayed what could have been a good meal.

Had lunch here with a friend on a Monday afternoon. The place seemed busy but service was quick. I had a yummy sage and squash soup for starters, needed salt though. For mains I had a spicy bean burger with sweet potato chips. I ended up taking the chips back in a doggy bag because the burger, which wasn’t really that spicy, was very filling. I came in with the intention of having dessert but I just couldn’t find the room. Prices were very reasonable. I was pleased to see that they had a vegan wine list. Overall, a nice place in Norwich city centre, cosy ambiance. Recommended.

I went here the other day again and took my vegetarian friend I was more impressed than last time. They’ve updated the menu and it’s looking more inspired, when you’re offering only veggie food you have to be more interesting, you can’t just do «meat» + «veg» it has to be a whole meal out of the veg. I had a veggie burger with sweet potato fries and it was really lovely, I don’t remember what my friend had but I know she enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great this time around, it is a really buzzy place for lunch in Norwich. Overall I don’t think it’s hugely different from when I’ve been before I just think it changes depending on the time of day and what you pick from the menu. If you’re a vegetarian then this place is a must and if you’re not it’s still worth a look.

This is my VERY favorite lunch spot in Norwich and Bob and I head here everytime we are home. It has fresh, healthy, organic, veggie, vegan, allergy friendly food– so great to have such forward thinking. We both have food allergies and so it is refreshing to go somewhere where we are totally catered for. The place is always busy and has a great atmosphere. The chickpea burgers with avocado and onion rings are fab, as is the risotto. It also has gluten free cakes.

A nice café upstairs above the wholefood shop. It’s a converted barn so there are natural wood surroundings, rafters, etc. We can recommend the veggie curry with coconut rice and the Morrocan Squash with fruited rice! Quite expensive but very imaginative meals, a good place to take veggie friends for a special occasion.
