Located just next to Nottingham Castle this is certainly a popular destination for students and those seeking cheap triple spirits!!!
It often gets very busy on Friday and Saturday night. This is partly because plenty of people like to head there and also because the bar has a layout that tends to lead to a few ‘congestion’ spots when your in there.
The layout has the bar in the middle of the room, with the surrounding standing area being relatively narrow at points and so creating a bit of a corridor feel.

Thursday nights are student nights and the triple for singles offer is not to be missed, its awkward because it is out of the way up near the castkle and not quite the centre of town but if you start early up there the atmosphere is really good, your feet haven’t quite started hurting yet! it plays good music and i recommend the fishbowls!
