I ate at this café last week and it was amazing. Really chilled out, the food is great, really nice big portions, and cheap(its non profit). It’s staffed by volunteers and everyone seemed to be really friendly and nice. You wouldn’t miss the meat! I definitely would recommend it.

A vegetarian café in the heart of Lenton, not a great area to venture into but it is honestly worth it to go to such a lovely welcoming place. The décor is kind of cosy and shabby, and very laid back. As far as i know this is a not for profit organisation, and is staffed by volunteers. It promotes fair trade produce and it is extremely cheap, there didn’t seem to be much on the menu above about £2.50. The menu is displayed on the wall, and the main course changes everyday, but there is always soup and sandwiches. I can recommend the bread and butter pudding if it’s on the menu. They are open late on Thursday, and think they have an evening menu offer available
