The Limehaus Deli

NOW MOVED ROUND THE CORNER TO LOUGHBON! This has to be the best deli ever! It use to be set in a tiny quaint building which was jam packed full to the ceiling of a delicious selection of produce. Now it’s even better as it has moved to a bigger cottage where there is room to eat and drink inside. There are all sorts of cheeses (one of the staff has a certificate in cheese and definitely knows her stuff!), a selection of continental meats, sausages, smoked salmon, olives, oils, sauces, jams, organic pasta, speciality foods, icecream, organic fruit and veg there’s too much to fit in here! There’s also a catering service and delicious tarts and quiches to order. The staff are very friendly and helpful and know all their customers by name. My highlight is popping over on a Saturday morning for one of their delicious baguettes and a piece of cake. I love sitting at the big table in the main room and watching what’s going on! I enjoy the chance to try some of the new products and experiment with interesting combinations.
