I really dont like this store, its crampt, expensive and very messy. If you are willing to spend alot of time in there mooching around piles of stuff both on the shelves and floors, i am sure that theres something for everyone. Theres plenty of parking outside as its situated in a retail park. Lots of baskets available just incase you managed to find something amongst the piles

TK Maxx is like a very posh jumble sales. This branch is very large and you do need to go in with a treasure hunt frame of mind. Yes their are great bargains to be hadif you have the stamina to search them out. Sadly because the presentation is so poor and items are piled up and stuffed in, it doesn’t encourage the shoppers to have much care either and people grab things. Many items, notably the more fraile things in homeware, get damaged. If the damage isn’t too bad or cosmetic at least use it as a bartering point. It is also a noisy store with loud music piped in. If you persevere and are lucky you may come out with some good buys but don’t even attempt it half heartedly or with a headache!

First impressions of TK Maxx in Chillwell Retail Park aren’t the best, it’s not the prettiest of places. On entering the store things don’t seem much better, the store is of the older, jumble sale format and there are things all over the place. It’s worth persevering however, as once you get rummaging in the place it is full of bargains and is actually better stocked than the larger store in Nottingham city centre. The store had a very good range of menswear with stock from good brands that aren’t often found in TK Maxx, a lot of which was from the current season.

There are bargains galore at this multi million pound organisation selling off other shops unwanted goods. How it works is beyond me, but I guess the old ‘something for everyone’ philosophy pays off. These huge complexes offer menswear, ladies wear, toys, and household goods all rolled into one neat(?) package. Literally you’d be hard pressed to leave having not been tempted by something. I’m a sucker for shoes, and always come away with a top brand goody from the racks and racks that TK Maxx has to offer. Avoid the sales at all costs, or be prepared to fight for your goods! The choice is mind blowing.
