well lot much have changed since the last comments ! My wife and i went to see The DJ Mike on a friday and had a great night so much so we went back on other nights this is what we found
Brilliant pub with great entertainment, Friday nights DJ mike hosts a quiz with prizes and plays great 80’s 90’s and quality music and also hosts karaōke
Saturday nights are usually hosted by the best karaōke host in Oldham Ron he is a quality vocalist in his own right and sings Elvis and johnny cash, Barry white amongst others, he knows how to set a fun warm friendly atmosphere.
Beer is always kept well, friendly pub, popular with young and old alike .
quick, attractive bar staff make this a place to have a good time

This is a complete dive of a pub.
The décor is horrible — lino floors, old fashioned wall paper, the odd table, dirty chairs — not good. I’m afraid I didn’t venture into the toilets.
The services isn’t that good either — you don’t feel welcome if your not local. The locals don’t help the situation, drunk and disorderly insulting the customers — we didn’t feel at all comfortable.
Prices are average and the drinks selection is poor, but all in all there are plenty of other pubs in the area within walking distance so I would avoid this one.

The Black Diamond is located in Bardsley Oldham and is a large Family run pub, extremly lively at the weekend and you are always guaranteed a good time with karoke for the singing fans and good booze for the people looking for a boozy night, then the Black Diamond is a good place to visit, Décor is nice and the staff are very friendly.
