I was here today mainly because it was raining and was meeting up with a friend On purchasing my flat white coffee from the counter was asked if I would like to do a quick little game on the staff choice for charity can u balance a coin on a lemon ?? Win some thing or another well anyway they were very nice the staff I like the coffee here very much I find that the place could be a little bit lighter its a bit gloomy for me It is also only a small place and can get very busy I would certainly be going again if I am in town ‚ Mornings seem to be the best time just before lunch ‚ If you want to sit in take it away if its busy I have had lunch before in Costa, s just not this one so I might try their lunch next time see my photos. ,

I called in Costa Coffee while in Oldham to spend my £6 compensation voucher for what happened at the Bury branch. I feel a slight demotion is on the cards, this branch of Costa is a smaller one compared to branches in Middleton and Bury for example, but still the size isn’t needed to be too big, with Costa having another branch near the hospital and bus station in Oldham. Costa didn’t stock any gluten free sandwiches on my visit, although they had a basic selection of pre-packaged gluten free cakes. The menu is the standard costa menu, with poor selection in my opinion when it comes down to non-iced drinks, especially considering the coffee isn’t normally great quality from Costa in general. The staff did seem nice here, and because I never ordered anything on this«short» visit, I feel I can’t downgrade this store too much as it would be unfair, but still, I really don’t feel this store deserves 4 stars, and it is more deserving of 3.

This place is one of only three reasons I even bother going to Oldham nowadays. The other two being signing on at the Jobcentre and that one stall on the outside market that sells sweets, chocolate, cakes, biscuits and crisps dead cheap. I find it interesting that this Costa Coffee shop can get rather busy when it’s in that part of the shopping centre that feels like a ghost town ever since TJ Hughes closed down…

I love Costa coffee so much and to have one just 5 – 10 mins away from uni is fab. Reasonable price I would say for such brilliant quality coffee and cake. Yes admittedly you can get cheaper else where but if you are looking for coffee that tastes as good as you can get with the same quality and taste at every Costa you go to you cant get better than here for a perfect coffee and cake any time of the day. Also the staff always friendly when you go in an the wait time is reasonable for such a popular place. The only real issue is seating especially if you go around mid afternoon but there is always the option to takeout meaning that you could take it back to the office with you. Always time for a cheeky Costa. What are you waiting for! Italian Costa time!

This outlet in Oldham Town Square is by far one of the best for customer friendliness! The staff always greet you with a smile and ask how your days been etc? They’ll make your coffee to how you personally want it. All types go here, those working or those just wanting a sit down after shopping! Like most outlets Costa have a wise range or sandwiches or toasties! Cakes and lite bites alike to have a nibble on with your coffee! Costa at Oldham is pretty standard like most of them… But it’s the customer service and quite ambience that keeps me coming back :)
