This café as been around a long time we used to go in along time ago for the potato pie but it started to lose it flavour when McDonald came to town now that’s some years Anyway I’m back in town and decided to visit all the old joints as they say my first impression was its not changed much They still serve the same potato pie with the choice of peas and gravy also beetroot or red cabbage The seating arrangements are newish but not much room that’s as maybe(I av put on weight) I could not move much They are indeed a very chirpy lot The food was on par for the place and the price ‚ I enjoyed it(the potato pie), I will most Probally renew my acquaintance with this place over the coming winter months ‚ For those who aren’t to fussy about their food will enjoy it here, theres all kinds of pies served to happy eating,

I have used this place for years and is mostly full(depending on time of day). It serves from toast to full meals, and the specials of either homemade potato pie, cheese and onion or steak pie is how your mum used to make them. Staff are always friendly and helpful too.

The Gallery Grill, its been an establishment in Oldham since i can remember and the décor hasn’t changed at since. This café looks like the old school café where you may have been taken to as a kid where the noise of steam, and cutlery clanking is abundant, the Milkshakes were made out of Milk & Crusha and it be filled with mainly old women having some chips, peas and pudding and gravy. That saying this is a wonderful place to get a full english breakfast. The old school greasy breakfast having a cup of the or coffee with 5 sugars is seen as normal. I love it here even if it feels like is stuck in a late 80’s/90’s décor. Its what the traditional english greasy spoon is about.

The Gallery Grill is situated in Oldham and is a small Greasy spoon café with seating avaliable for approx 20 — 30 people. The décor isnt fantastic but is clean and tidy. The Staff are great and really helpful, the food is nice and reasonable in price. The Best dish is Cheese and Onion quiche/pie with chips and beans, its only four pound and is so nice. If you enjoy good hearty food and not to fuss about the décor i would strongly suggest a visit to the Gallery!

I love this little Café!!! I have been coming here for nearly 20 years, the décor isnt all that and does have a lot to be the desired. But the staff are so friendly, the food is great and the cost is so cheap its a winner for me.
