Greenwoods

I wanted a little something for mothers day and this place was perfect for the occasion. The seasonal cakes looked gorgeous and they did indeed taste as good as they looked (my mum doesn’t know that I had one!) The lady who was working there was very nice and I did not realise that they did catering until I went in. I had thought it was just a little bakery. The displays were fully stocked and full of tempting little treats (I didn’t fall for them… this time at least will go back for certain) gorgeous smells drifting from the back of the shop. The price was extremely reasonable for homemade foods and the taste more than made up for the price anyway! A good little find by all accounts especially as it is cheaper that certain other companies! (Mentioning no names… cough, Gregg’s, cough. oh sorry bout that). Oh I feel hungry no just thinking about the place. Might go tomorrow. Yum look forward to that!

This is where all the products for the Greenwoods shops is made. They have a bakery attached to the the back of the building and have a shop where you can buy the stuff. This is the head office of the company.
The celebration cakes are made on the premises and you can have a chat with the lady that makes them to discuss what you want. They make wedding cakes as well and general Birthday, Christening etc.
Greenwoods can also provide catering for events. They have a number of menus available for sit down meals and buffets or you can suggest your own if you have something in mind.
Staff are all very helpful whether you want a potato pie, an anniversary cake or a whole wedding catered for!
