Taj Palace

The food is tasty and you can see it being prepared in the open kitchen towards the back of the main restaurant. It’s the usual all you can eat buffet scenario so expect to serve yourself from a variety of simmering metal caldrons.
Unfortunately although the food’s good the ambience is dreadful, it’s situated in an old bingo hall and as such gives the impression of being in a school dinner hall, the tables have plastic covers on them, the seats are uncomfortable, everyone is spread out all over the huge hall area and the lighting is dismal. The toilets could also do with serious improvement.
I’m afraid it’s not a patch on Ayce Express that was round the corner but has now sadly closed down.
There are apparently suites available for weddings, however I’ve not been to any of them so this is purely based on the buffet restaurant section.
