I come here on occasions to see if they have any thing new on offer Also to see if they still do certain beers, it is the beer festival week I am not really impressed with the Witherspoon’s chain nearly all do the same things even though the interior is different at each one they all run the same the same menu ‚ Anyway my point of my visit was to see if they made any new changes The disabled doorway in as been altered which is a good start as some of the disabled struggled to get in when they are without a carer to ask to open the door(they kept it locked) they also couldn’t sit in the beer garden unless they asked again its off putting for many of them I m sure that they are willing if they know ‚? But it still takes away their independence ‚ The meals are very good value here and they have a good choice of beers available but the choice sometimes is very average, having said all this it is still the number one place for the majority ‚ I will still be visiting and having a dig over the facilities etc While I tuck into my pudding and chips Its a case of watch out I’m about lol :-)

Staff brill, food cheap and chearful. lovely place. Only one fault, Maria Mitchell, the manager is not very nice, don’t complain about food she’ll ask you to leave. Her appearance for a manager needs to be questioned as well.

Went to one of the free open days(Sunday 11 Dec) what an absolute change this place makes to most other Weatherspoons I’ve been to and I frequently visit these establishments. So brought up into the 21st century. Well done JD’s look forward to many a happy hour in the Shay Wake
