We’ve done a few ‘Alternative Health Shows’ in the Town Hall mentioned above. It really is a nice Town Hall & it’s great that it seems well used by the local people.
The market square is great, with a few pubs, parking & there is a store just behind the town hall — where we picked up sandwiches as we were too busy to go out to eat.
We both liked Oswestry very much — we must go back when we have more time & explore better.

In the centre of this very interesting town (1st visit) I found a lovely market square with a number of stalls selling local produce and haberdashery etc. There are a number of hostelries around the square and a lovely Town hall where I popped to the loo and it was very nicely maintained. This town is where england meets wales and a good base for checking out the countryside around.
