A good selection in the deli section, plus a cornershop styke range of other groveries available. Minted Lamb pasty highly recommended!

First off: what a fantastic name for a shop! It’s not in vain either — they specialise in selling eggs to local businesses. If you’re not an egg fiend, there’s still plenty for you. It’s essentially a convenience store, with a few essentials to keep you going. However, it’s also popular with people working on Botley Road, who pop in for lunch. It doesn’t really look like it does fresh food, but there’s a good range of cakes (amazing brownies!) and savoury pasties and pastries. They do sandwiches and paninis too, although it’s hard to get past the tempting, warm glow of pastries. I just wish they did home/​work deliveries!

If you ever find yourself this side of town, or working in one of the many shops in the retail parks of botley rd then this is the place to get your lunch.
It is a little local shop selling eggs, milk, tea bags, canned goods, newpapers but it also capitalises on being near so many shops and retail outlets by providing tempting lunches.
Firstly for the healthy people out there, they sell fresh fruit. Lots of fresh apples, bananas and oranges etc.
The for the less healthy — there are biscuits, fresh cakes, packet biscuits and crisps. In the fridge there are milkshakes, yoghurt’s and canned drinks.
But the great thing is the hot tray, the fresh cakes and the sandwiches.
The hot tray has pasties — meat, veg and cheese, spring rolls — meat and veg, and all sorts of savoury pastries. They are all really good. I especially like the spinach and ricotta fold.
I do not know if they make them themselves but i dont care — they are good.
The cakes are fresh tasting and change a lot. But i have had a great carrot cake and a lovely chocolate brownie. Yum.
They do every array of sandwich on bread — white or brown, roll — white or brown or panini — hot or cold. The fillings include chinese chicken, chicken tikka, lamb and mint, ploughmans, prawn and avocado, Club, chicken and bacon and lots of veggie ones too. You can pick them out of their fridge otr if you want one that isnt there they will make it. They will also do hot paninis.
This is a great change for those who work or live along botley rd from the McDs up the other end.
