I’ve been there in 2010 for one week. That is the best bed & breakfast family-​run hotel I have ever seen before and after (so that one year later I do remember how good that was).
The hosts were very friendly and helpful; they have even laundered my clothes for free (on request, of course).
The English breakfast was delicious and nutritious (+3kg of body weight for 1 week).
Location is good for Paignton — close to the sea/​ocean (1 – 2 min walking) and to a bus station. Though, it is a bit far (for walking) from the attractions of Torquay, but you can take a bus or drive yourself.
