Great selection of drinks, friendly service. Excellent food, 3 steaks good to order and tasty with sides, lamb lovely and pink, good gammon, and ticka massalla met my mother in law standards ! Excellent menu and a good choice.

Alright bar, but I found I waited sometime to get served whilst the barman was just chatting to a local, now thats great just not when someone is waiting… and no apology. I did find also that this particular night it had alot of younger dodgy looking lads who seemed to eyeball everyone walking in, hence I drank up a left as it didnt feel right. Bad vibes that night, yet it used to be a favourite of mine some years ago and my local, it just felt clicky not like days of old…(possibly a bad night or I just read it all wrong :)

Big place, excellent for quiz nights, eating out, watching footie or just having a quiet drink with friends. Family friendly.
The beer is cheap, the wine cheaper still, and the food is actually pretty OK for the price. A nice quiet pub, which is perfect for a nice quiet weekday drink or meal (If you wanted to party on a weekend this is not the place though).
