Wonderful local pub, run by a lovely couple. Full of nice people and with a spitting fire too. My free taster of Smugglers Ale from gravity had to lead to a pint, no choice. Its a rare find out of its bottle. It has a very nice caramel flavour and is a quite strong 6pc. When I fancied something weaker there was the always excellent Proper Job, so even though I liked the place so much I came back on 3 consecutive nights I still didn’t get to any of the other beers (Bass, Tribute and Trelawny).
