Able Cabs

Sadly, a day long Cornwall tour did not indicate that this company is «Able» to provide the kind of service one expects from a professional company. Driver, who is owner’s son, was upset over personal issues. His dad instructed him to take care of business; did not fare so well for the 8 of us who were to be taken on a 6 ½ hour tour of Cornwall. Driving and taking curves in a way that was flinging people in the back of the van all around, no idea of time management or even what sights we were seeing. He acted like a young kid, fooling around with other driver, giving the middle finger; all very juvenile behaviour. Father gave all appearances of being able to provide us with a well scheduled trip and time for lunch; he should have been the one who was driving. Emails from several in the group to the company have received no response. Payment had to be made by bank transfer so there is no financial recourse, which we knew up front. So pay your money and take your chances. Sad, as the father has recently purchased this company and more ship tours are going into Falmouth. More reviews like this and he will be only a cab company for the locals as those looking for tours won’t be comfortable using them.
