The location of the Sandbar really can’t be beat — rain or shine the fantastic views of the sea are a huge draw. The name, in case you missed it, is a joke — you see, it’s a bar, and its on the sand. That done, let’s get down to business. The beer selection is capable, although I wish they would stock some more hoppy brews, the range of ciders is good too, and the food has its moments, although it can sometimes be hit or miss. Service is generally good, although, again, occasional lapses are not quite occasional enough to ignore completely!
I highly recommend the Sandbar, and with a little more attention to detail it would be truly awesome!

Great food and fantastic views. This is also a great place for children to relax and run around.
The owners have a great attitude towards children and their Sunday roasts are among the best in Cornwall.
Also, try some of the Rattler.
