Appalling service and burnt food.
Saturday Lunchtime, Party of 2.
We waited 45 minutes for our starter and then a further 30 for our main course. The sizzling skewers had obviously sizzled for far too long as the majority of the vegetables were completely burnt.
The rest of the food was pretty good; however, the extremely poor service has put us off ever going here again.
AVOID AT BUSY TIMES.

Had a lovely afternoon meal with my wife, good food, drinks, and plenty of tacky bits and bobs on the walls, my kind of thing!

great price and good atmosphere especially when out in a group. food is tasty with big portions! Sometimes have a bit of a wait but then there is plenty of drinks choice with some fab cocktails!

The food was absolutely dire I had the acalpuco chicken fajita, and it took a very long time for the food to arrive, even though it was a Thursday night and half empty. When it did arrive, the chicken was unappetizing, with some kind of random breaded coating, and there was just way too much oil.
Service was also incredibly slow. Took forever for my drinks to arrive even tap water too 10 minutes to get to the table! I had to ask for the bill twice before it was delivered was so fed up that I was considering just leaving without paying.
The only good part of the service was that the kept coming by to ask how the food was multiple times.

When it first opened, I really liked chiquitos, but the last three visits have consisted of dry, uninspiring food, long waits and poor service. The staff are nice enough, but i waited for an hour for my food on one occasion. If you do go, I’d stick with fajitas as they normally seem the best bet.

Food is really good! service is poor when the restaurant is busy, and drinks take a long time to come, good for birthdays and group nights out but too loud for romantic meals!

New Mexican restaurant in Hampton. Very convenient with easy parking. I’ve been three times and I must say the service has been fairly poor on all occasions, but this may be due to the staff settling in etc as this is a new place.
Food is really good if you order off the main menu, with the fajitas being particularly good. If you order from the cheap weeknight menu the food can be slightly dry
Really good ambience, and décor in the restaurant, and the bar is also very good. Worth a visit
