The Pinner branch of Harrow libraries is much like any library in London, although it has some plus points. The first one is that it’s got a far more pleasant atmosphere, and it doesn’t get nearly as hot in here as the main Harrow branch! Everything is on one floor, with a decent children’s area. The reservations are now handled by automated touch screens, although there are still staff nearby if you need them. Of particular note is the excellent biography section, and the well stocked cookery shelves as well. I’ve found them to ha e some surprisingly new and high end cookbooks in there.
