I used to be a regular at Pinner Tandoori, but not so much lately. The actual restaurant part always seems to be completely empty, and they don’t do delivery, so I only come here to get a take away a couple of times a year. It’s quite an old-fashioned style, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. We had a chicken tikka masala, which I didn’t like very much — there was nothing wrong with it, just not completely for me. I LOVED the Khot-Ta-Paneer though, full of cheese and spice. I also really like the flavour of their onion pakora, which is admittedly a bit greasy(if you get it to eat in, it’s really nice. Pakora should really be eaten immediately, to be fair). I also like their keema naan. Sure, they could do with a bit of updating but I imagine their regulars like it how it is. They were updating the interior, with new murals going on the wall. The staff are courteous. It’s a bit pricey for a takeaway, but as a restaurant, it’s what you’d expect. If Unilocal did half stars, I’d give this a 3.5.

I used to live at this place and still visit there when I am back in London(yes and its outside the City). The curry is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. Even when I got the takeout — the staff was engaging(they knew me quite well) and made visiting there a pleasure.
