Had a very nice meal at Lockyers, it was recommended to me by the kind taxi driver who drove me to the Premier Inn where I was staying next door. The waitress and bar staff were very helpful and friendly, we didn’t wait long for drinks, food or the bill. I ordered the lamb shank which came with mash and gravy. The lamb meat was so tender and fell off the bone. I didn’t think there was enough gravy but I didn’t ask for more(apparently they are happy to bring more!). I asked for mint sauce and it came in a plentiful pot(not a stingy packet!). Lamb shank and 2 soft drinks came to £12. Very good value for money.

Had a good lunch here. Took advantage of the 2 meals for a tenner offer. Portions weren’t massive but both meals nicely cooked. Struggled to get my wine in time to have it with my food despite ordering it before the meal arrived. They were not very busy but it is much quicker to go to the bar yourself. Waitresses were not English but spoke perfect English and were really friendly and seemed very happy in their jobs. They didn’t stop wiping tables and menus. Car park handy for a quick walk ound the Barbican to let your food go down

We went here for a Sunday roast a couple of weeks ago, I had never been, but my boyfriend had. I have to say I was fairly disappointed. I should have guessed from the title that the vegetarian ‘no meat roast’ was exactly thatthe roast without the meat. This is pretty disappointing really and I really think they should have tried to offer a vegetarian alternative to meat. The staff all seemed pretty disinterested(apart from one girl who brought our food) and were hiding at the end of the bar talking whilst I waited. We weren’t asked if we wanted desserts and we had to go back up to the bar to order them. This was no big deal but they had asked the table next to us and also brought them more drinks from the bar. The view was nice though and the actual interior is quite homely if you get a nice table. Menu seemed ok and a few vegetarian option. Deserts were lovely.

Lovely pub/restaurant situated on the harbour in Plymouth with ample parking the cost of which is deducted from your bill. Good menu at reasonable prices and an extensive range of wines and beers are stocked too. Many of the seats in the dining area have views of the harbour and there are several soft seating areas to relax in.

Family friendly waterside pub overlooking sutton harbour. Good lunch menu, although the evening menu is lacking for the vegetarians amongst us. Lots of space and friendly bar staff, there is a good selection of drinks available at reasonable prices. Big car park, as well as a good sized beer garden.
