Wonderful B&B, fully renovated, spotless, cozy rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and mostly delightful host.
If back in Plymouth will definitely come back here.

This pub is handily placed on the Waterfront with wonderful views of the sea and Plymouth Sound. The Water Taxi to the historic Plymouth Barbican is based here, so the pub is an ideal starting/​stopping point for this. The price of food and drink is somewhat high, but you are paying a premium for the excellent site and facilities. On Sunday evenings, the pub hosts a good quiz which I regularly attend

This is a lovely bar and restaurant in Plymstock which also serves as a hotel. The hotel serves food all day seven days a week and does a carvery on a sunday lunch. The main benefit of this bar and restaurant is the location, it is perfectly situated for a walk along Mountbatten pier and the surrounding areas of Jennycliff. The staff in the bar are always friendly and helpful and the food, although basically pub food is always of a good standard, fairly priced and generous in portion. Well worth a visit if only for a quick drink on the way to get an ice cream at the end of the breakwater, easily accessible from the Barbican as well as this is where the water taxi lands and departs.
