Great little pub. very small for drinking area, but nice seated/​covered smoking area. The meals are good and not expencive.

Don’t be put off by approach via an industrial estate (not the best of locations), as a warm welcome truly awaits. You can probably tell by the name that the Boars head is a real ale pub, what’s more they even have weekly guest ales, so there’s always an excuse to come back! Steak nights on Thursday, Curry nights on Wednesday, and a great beer garden if you fancy a drink outside (weather permitting). In my opinion it actually has a real French feel; the interior has a flagstone floor and low beams.
A surprisingly nice place to visit!
