As good as it gets! Stunning food, lovely restaurant, excellent staff and service. The Bunch of Grapes has the kind of menu that other establishments should aspire to. It costs a little more than you’d normally pay in this part of the world, but for food this accomplished its worth every penny. Relaxed atmosphere in an informal dining room, their own ales and local ciders were the cherry on top. Perfect venue for that special meal when you are celebrating or want to impress. On street parking and easy to find on the outskirts of Pontypridd. Imaginative vegetarian options!

Loved it. Food and service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back. Not the same old menus you get everywhere else. The Real Ale was well worth the visit on its own. Probably the best meal we’ve had this year!

I have been here once for Sunday lunch. Food is nice but for the money I prefer to go to the ceasears or custom house.

brilliant little pub in pontypridd. it is owned by the otley brewery so it has all welsh brewed ale(on pull). lovely food aswell. really worth a visit. just going for a meal for a special occasion a little bit expensive, but that is reflected by the gorgeous food. the also do bar meals that are a lot cheaper

If my wife would let me I would move to Ponty just to be near this pub. Best beer(although a bit light where are the darks???) and food at pub prices in a friendly atmosphere. No matter where you are from, it feels like you’re walking into your local.

Mates recently bigged this place up. However another mate got like 5 chips in a potion for £2.50 and wasn’t impressed. This is an upmarket version of the more studenty Otley. The food is really nice, but not fantastic value value for money because the portion sizes are small. This pub is good for cyclists, because it’s off the Taff Trail and also good for real ale enthusiasts. But the best thing of all is a grapevine lined conservatory with actual grapes!

The bunch of grapes is a smally cosy pub just outside of Pontypridd town centre. They have quite an unusual food menu for a small pub, however the food is always lovely and worth the bit extra you pay. It’s a nice change to your typical pub grub!

Posh traditional pub food. They have a separate restaurant area which has a really nice atmosphere. The food is delicious and inventive. The only downside is that it’s a bit expensive — though you definitely get your moneys worth! This place gets really busy so book in advance! Here’s a link to their website: which has contact info etc. Their main website is down at the moment but if it starts working again this is the link:
