used to come here every friday night with a group of friends. great place. great atmosphere. loved the fire out the back

Lovely place. I visit it often, being a student in Treforest. There’s always a warm and friendly atmosphere and has my favourite beer garden, where you can sit around the fire and be merry.
There are also various entertainment nights, such as quiz night, live bands and fancy dress parties.
The only food I’ve eaten there was some nachos and cheese, which were tasty.
I would recommend this place to anyone.

absolutely amazin food. good value for money as well. friendly staff and good drinks although some drinks can be a little pricey you pay for the high standards of serivce and quality of food and drink. would tell everpyone to go down there for amazing tapas!!! :)

Having spent three years at Glamorgan University, I had plenty of time to get well acquainted with the local pubs and bars. Some were fun, others were absolute dives, but out of them all, Flagstones ranks as my número uno.
Flagstones is a small tapas bar in the centre of Park Street, Treforest, that serves up a selection of tapas food such as seafood, various cured meats, and olives, among others. It is a great place to go and relax with friends and leave the stresses of day-​to-​day life at the door. The chilled out surroundings, the mellow music and the stone interior make this place different to most and there is a noticeably calm mood to this uniquely cool bar.
On the rare occasion the sun is shining, there is a beer garden out the back of the bar that is perfect for lounging around and catching rays; an experience made all the sweeter if you are sampling one of the varied selection of beers and ciders available at the bar.
Whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a lazy evening, Flagstones is the ideal venue to kick back and enjoy a quality bit of ‘me’ time.

The Tapas bar in treforest is conveniently located in close proximity to the train station and the university making it a popular choice for students. The food here is lovely and well worth a visit. There is also a beer garden outside.

Great Tapas served here. It is opposite the train station in treforest so has easy access to cardiff making it popular for a few drinks before hand. Gets busy in here on the weekends.

This is more of a bar/​café, but they do awesome tapas and have some really random but delicious stuff on the menu — a while ago I had Baracuda! If your coming here for food your best off coming on a week night or early on as they don’t do bookings and on a Friday and Saturday night the ‘bar’ aspect of things tends to take over.
