Pontypridd Museum Bridge Street (next to the old bridge) Built in 1861 this restored Welsh Baptist Chapel maps out the history of the Victorian town There are also visiting exhibitions that change on a monthy basis. including art exhibitions, book sales, and many others The museum is also used as a tourist information centre and you can pick up free maps and information of the area. Although the museum closes at 5pm there are many evening activities including an art socieity, a mixed choir(who are always looking for members-men are doubly welcome) a camera club, and many other activities. The mixed choir meets most Sunday evenings at 7.30pm decend the steps at the side of the buiding There is no audition just the ability to enjoy singing A mixed program of songs from the shows and major works.
