Oriental Buffet

Good selection of Chinese dishes which you help yourself to. One of the better all you can eat restaurants around.

foods ok if you like to eat fast with an «all you can eat» menu you have to eat fast as the staff just hover waiting to pounce on your plate, it feels like your sat in a pokey transport café with tiled floors and plastic chairs.

The four words «all you can eat» may be an inviting proposition to some people, but for me it’s a personal challenge. Whether I’m hungry or not, I will eat my way through plate after plate of luke warm food for the sole purpose of getting value for money, regardless of the quality of food. Luckily for me, at the Oriental Buffet, taste is never a worry, as the food has been consistently good every time I’ve been there.
The Oriental Buffet is found on the busy street of Broadway, Pontypridd. With excellent prices on «all you can eat» menus, day and night, you are virtually guaranteed to get your money’s worth. There is also a cheaper lunchtime buffet that will only set you back around £7, which is nothing if you’ve got the munchies that only a platter of Chinese can satisfy.
The venue itself is not bad either; nothing to write home about but it does the job. Think typical minimalist Chinese restaurant meets canteen and you have yourself the Oriental Buffet.
All in all, a great little restaurant if you’re seriously craving Chinese food but are looking to save some pennies.

This resteraunt is located in the centre of Pontypridd Town and is a great place to go with friends or for a romantic meal. It has a resteraunt section and an all you can eat buffet. Staff here are always helpful and polite. Food is also fantastic!

No frills café feel to the place. No choice for chopsticks. Not so much choice of food for the afternoon either, especially the mains, but what is here is lovely. only ice cream available for pudding — no fruit! Been to better buffets.

Fantastic chineese resteraunt next to weatherspoons. Option of all you can eat or set menu. Friendly staff although once when we ordered off the set menu and each had abit of the others dish they they were not best pleased and tried to stop us. Other than that the food is fantastic!

I love this restaurant. They do an all you can eat buffet which is about £6 in the day and £11 in the evening. The food is really nice and they are constantly refilling it. The price includes the buffet as much as you want and also a dessert buffet which they have ice cream, cake, fruit and sauces. They do ask that you try not to waste food and their drinks are very expensive but you can ask for a jug of water which is free. A very clean restaurant with a great atmosphere and really friendly staff. They also offer take away.

Beautiful food in a nice setting. The resteraunt is tastefully decorated and is very clean. The staff are always friendly and polite. The food is always hot and declicious and it offers great value for money! Id defainetly recommend it here!

Great valve for money both day and night. The staff are really friendly and extremely helpful. Good selection of dishes which are topped up all time. There is even an ice-​cream machine for dessert to keep the kids happy. Still only £5.99 during the day up to 5.00 all you can eat.
