I chose Chiquitos as a quick and easy option for dinner on a weeknight. As a chain restaurant, the décor is presentable and the greeter was polite as we arrived. We were seated at a booth and the first thing that we noticed was how sticky the table was. My friend had to place a napkin on the tabletop to prevent sticking to it, not a good start.
The waiter arrived to take drink order which then took 17 minutes to arrive. Not a good start. A shared order of nachos was distinctly average and not particularly hot. This made the main course all the more surprising, the burritos were excellent, hot and tasty. All in all, I was less than impressed with what was a lacklustre performance. The only bright spot was the good main course. Unless you are particularly interested in that, go to one of the many other chain restaurants at Tower Park.

brilliant busy restaurant which is perfect for family. They serve really tasty Mexican food with some American choices also available. Had the chicken wings with a lime and chilli dressing and some kind of white fish dish and jambalya (a rice dish) all were excellent. Servers were very friendly, we went on the Thursday before halloween so the entire restaurant was decked out with spook stuff and the staff were all dressed up in cool costumes! a really fun place to go, seems like a great place for parties!

A fun, family atmosphere. A great menu range and lively Mexican music. You always get service with a smile however, be sure to book in advance on a Saturday otherwise you’ll be waiting for a while! A great selection of cocktails and family entertainment on Sundays. Oh and you have to try the Banana Taquito or Belgium Waffles for dessert!! Their cocktails are lovely, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and if you’re there for a special occasion, you can ask the barmen to prepare a special birthday cocktail! Chqiuito also offers are great kids menu and kids packs keeping the children entertained while you enjoy your meals!
