Nice choice of food avilable in this store and not prices that will damage the old purse strings.
Choice of fresh or frozen food as well as basic food items like bread milk are also available. also has a weekly bargains items like household goods or clothes or gifts, that are only available whilse stocks last.

I like to make the occasional visit to Lidl to have a wander round and pick up some of the more unusual food items. The range of cooked meats and German sausages is great and the Stracciatelli yoghurt in litre tubs is to die for.
The staff aren’t particularly enthused about working there, but they aren’t unhelpful or rude in anyway.
Remember to take boxes and your own carrier bags as otherwise you’ll have to pay for them at the till.
Good location with lots of parking.

Budget supermarket reminds of Kwik Save of Old. Has many unheard of brands of food but general they are good quality and better value than the major supermarket own brands. Their Alcohal Beer/​larger is very good. And as mentioned in previous reviews the fruit and veg is A+
The only fault of this store many of their advertised offers in their weekly leaflet are either not stocked or sold out Which is annoying if you made a special journey for a bargain

i always find a trip to lidl fascinating. Not only is it great for picking up essentials like fruit and veg for cheaper but you can also find more exciting and unusual products. I buy all my kids lunch supplies from there, dont be put off fby the unfamiliar brand names as most of them are similar to branded ones and the quality is usually better. I go here before tesco in my weekly shop and then supplement my purchases in tesco for thing swhich i cant find in lidl, overall it saves me money

Lidl at waterloo road ticks all the boxes of a lidl store. It has products from other countries as well as the UK at very low prices. The most reasonable is the fruit and vegetables these work out really cost effective. Alcohol is well priced and there brands taste just as good as other store brands. Like all lid’ls each week new offers are placed in store and new items these are found in the large baskets in the centre of the shop they can range from car parts to gardening equipment and is normally the cheapest you will get it around but once it is gone it is gone. It is best to keep an eye out or lookout for the leaflets that are delivered if you live near to a store.
With everybody wanting to save money at the moment some items do sell out quickly so best to go early and remember Lidl charge for carrier bags so its best to either take your own or pinch some of the cardboard boxes lying around in the store.
