Pepe Piccante has gone downhill quickly since summer 2008, and in the winter of 2008 the food was very diassapointing — even the pizza’s were not cooked properly, mine was soggy and soft in the middle. The menu is also more limited than it has been in the past. In the past Pepe’s has been of a fine standard — never outstanding, but good enough and enjoyable, however I would not now go back after my last experience. There were plans for the restaurant to be sold in the summer of 2008, and after the sale fell through the standard has rapidly deteriorated. Hopefully it will still be sold to someone who wants to put the time and effort into making this a decent place to eat.
