I like to support local retailers but find quality of fruit and veg deters me as tend to not last as long as those bought in supermarket.

I’m not sure what to say about Stokes because I’m sort of on the fence. I used to get all fruit from here and thought the quality good, but then the bananas only lasted a few days before going a bit too banana-​y, and the difference with fruit bought from the market is hugely evident. The prices are also quite ridiculous compared to supermarkets and the market. Sometimes, though, there are some good deals like 4 nectarines for a pound. I just don’t bother with this store anymore though and I haven’t seen any similiar offers these days. It’s a good store if you’re stuck for a place in Porthcawl though.
