Sandhill Strawberry Farm

This farm is such a good day out for kids, families or I’m my case… the girlfriend.
They have strawberries and raspberries this time of the year but also apricots later in the winter.
You pull into the car park and go into the shop to pick up an empty tray. The strawberries are located on the other side of the field so a drive or longish walk is necessary to reach them. Then you just pick to your heart’s content. We ended up filling 2 deep trays with ripe juicy strawberry and raspberry. Since Asda and Tesco like to rip me off I was expecting to pay a high price…£3.50. I was that made up I ended up just giving them a fiver because it was such a nice run family business.
I will be going back again when the weather improves.
